Baker’s wall-monuments to Thomas Brooks at Whalley, Lancs and to the Rev Samuel Sewell at Prescot are in the neo-Greek style (2, 3). He carved the tablet with military trophies to George Vernon, 1844, at North Mimms with a partner named Earle (5).
