The Norwich Mercury of 5 April 1806 carried an advertisement stating that Benjamin Barnett had taken over the stock in trade of Mr B Gosling of Bungay and intended to continue his business providing ‘Marble and Stone Chimney-pieces, Monuments, Tombes, Grave-stones, Barn Floors, &c. &c.’
