Biographical Details
He was born about 1787 and entered the Dublin Society’s schools in 1810. There he studied under Edward Smyth and won several prizes for modelling and drawing. He does not seem to have found success as a sculptor since nothing more is heard of him, except that in 1849 he failed to obtain the mastership of the Dublin Society’s modelling school. At that time his address was given as North King Street.
