Biographical Details
Assistant to John Henning II. He was sent to Manchester by his employer in April 1837 in order to carry out preliminary carving on the reliefs of Architecture, Painting, Sculpture, Wisdom, Astronomy and Mathematics on the Manchester City Art Gallery. He was paid £1 a week for his efforts.
