Biographical Details
In 1761 he was living in James’s Street, Dublin, and was described as a mason. Mack is thought to have designed Powerscourt House in South William Street, Dublin in 1771, after Lord Powerscourt approved his plan and agreed to pay him ‘at the rate of five pr cent for conducting the whole of the sd works’. He was also to execute all the work in stone on the house.
