Biographical Details
He received a silver Isis medal from the Society of Arts for an original portrait bust in 1821 (1) at which time he was living in St Martin’s Lane. In 1832, when he exhibited at the Royal Academy, Bielfield’s address was given as 11 Old Church Street, Paddington. He may perhaps be identified with Charles Frederick Bielefeld who manufactured papier-mâché architectural ornaments in London in the mid-19th century.
