Biographical Details	Although no works by him have come to light, his name is in Pigot’s Directory as ‘statuary and mason, Highgate’ (Pigot 1827, 204). In the churchyard of West Malling, Kent, is the tombstone of Elizabeth, ‘wife of John Salisbury, statuary in this town and formerly both of Exeter’, who died in 1832, aged 40.
