Biographical Details
Seeley, who joined the Royal Academy Schools in 1808, later went into partnership with Felix Austin, and together they executed various monumental works. Like his partner Seeley chose good designers for his works, and like him, too, dealt in terracotta, though he called his material ‘artificial lime-stone’. He executed a number of fountains to designs by architects.
