A pen and ink portrait sketch by Richmond is dated 10 September 1829 (coll Prof Philip Rieff, Pennsylvania, USA, repr Lister 1981, 17). Several anatomical sketches of the sculptor by the same artist came onto the British art market in 2000 (C Lib repr).
