Biographical Details
Bouquet exhibited at the Royal Academy between 1782 and 1827 and at the Society of Arts in 1783, showing largely unidentified wax portraits. This peripatetic modeller was recorded ‘At Mr. Richard’s, Bear Street, Golden Square’; ‘112, Bunhill Row, Moorfields’; ‘2, Charles Street, Hatton Garden’ and ‘18, Hoxton Square’ (Graves I, 1905-6, 251). His only known surviving work is an undated wax portrait of a churchman (1).
