Biographical Details
His known monuments are large and architectural and have an elaborate and well-carved shield and coat of arms at the base. Richard Veale of Plymouth, who was perhaps a son of J R Veale was paid nearly £100 for repairs to Antony House, Cornwall, in 1818 (Archives, Sir John Carew-Pole Bt, in GPC).
