Biographical Details
Jeavons comments that Webster was ‘a good craftsman and his monuments are well above the usual standard of the local masons’, adding that the monument to Samuel Peach, 1801, at Trysull, Staffs, is ‘undoubtedly by Webster’ although it is not signed (Jeavons, 1960, 59). The Perrott has a pyramid, from which hangs a coat of arms (3).
