Biographical Details
He was responsible for a great deal of building at Ragley Hall, Warks, receiving over £500 in 1749-50 for mason’s work; this payment included £96 for ‘Pillasters, rustics and mouldings’. In 1780 he repaired the chancel of St James, Arrow, Warks and in 1787 he was again the principal mason for alterations to Ragley Hall under the architect James Wyatt, receiving £344.
