Biographical Details
He seems to have specialised in wall monuments featuring women. The Bainbridge (1) is described by Gunnis as having a relief of a seated mourning woman in the manner of John Bacon II. The Sikes has figures of Hope and Faith (2) and the Peach, a weeping woman seated by an urn (4). Wilson’s yard was at Bath Place, New Road.
