Biographical Details
He was the second son of Thomas Wise I and was apprenticed to his father in 1673, becoming free of the Masons’ Company on 5 October 1680. He became renter warden of the Masons’ Company in 1695, upper warden in 1696 and master in 1703. In 1683 he and his partner, Samuel Fulkes worked as masons at Winchester Palace.
