Biographical Details
Wood worked as a mason and was paid in 1810 for covering flues in Kew Peach house and for relaying paving and repairing coping in the kitchen garden. Gunnis describes his tablets as competent but dull and lists those he considers best. It is noteworthy that one of his works was sent out to Canada (6). His yard was in the King’s Road.
