Biographical Details
He worked as an assistant to his cousin William Wyon and was probably the ‘J Wyon’ of Birmingham who was awarded a silver Isis medal from the Society of Arts in 1820 for a copy of a head in miniature (RSA Transactions, 1820, vol 38, xxxv).
