Biographical Details
Bullock was employed at Cleveland House, St James’s, London between 1796 and 1799 when the south front and interior were remodelled by James Lewis for the 3rd Duke of Bridgewater (Ashridge MSS, AH 1749, in GPC). In 1809 he succeeded Thomas Engleheart as one of the carvers at Dodington Park, Glos, under the direction of the architect James Wyatt (1) (Codrington Archives in GPC).
