Biographical Details
A Yorkshire restorer and monumental mason. His oval tablet to Mary Lamprey is of coloured marbles and features an urn in high relief (2). The Woodall monument, which has cornucopiae and an urn, was described as ‘weird’ by Pevsner and ‘amusing’ by Gunnis (1).
