Biographical Details
White’s Directory of 1846 lists Bailey & Furness, stone and marble masons of 10 St John Street, Hull. A bill dated 1848 for masonry work, materials and lodgings at Burton Constable Hall is made out to ‘George Bailey Statuary and Mason, successor to the late Joseph Earle’ (EYCRO DDCC/2/72). (Inf.
